Secret DNA codes - Bakugan Gundalian Invaders

Gundalian Invarers DNA codesWe are getting closer to the release of the third season of Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Bakugan: Gundalian Invaders! And according to Sega Toys president, Isao Kokubun, the third season will tie into the global online game project that Activision Blizzard will release for the Nintendo DS and Wii, Sony PlayStation, and Microsoft Xbox platforms. No wonder Bakugan fans around the world are so excited!

New features to the Bakugan game will be:

  • Battle Gear
  • Reference Cards
  • Super Assault Bakugan (Super Assault is the new name of Gundalian Invader's Special Attacks.)
  • DNA Code

DNA Codes can be found on the Gundalian Invaders Bakugan. It is a 10-digit code that can be used when you play the Online Bakugan Game that is coming very soon! The codes can be revealed by heat, for instance by rubbing your finger or your shirt on it. If you use your fingers, simply press firmly against the codes for 2-5 minutes (if your hands are cold - probably a bit longer).

The 10-digit DNA codes are specific to each Bakugan, and it is  very important that you keep your codes to yourself! Once the code has been entered online you cannot use it again, so keep your code a secret!

How to play Bakugan

Before you start the game

Two to four players can play together. The concept is fairly simple. When a Bakugan sphere or marble is rolled onto one of the metal gate cards it will pop open and reveal a Bakugan inside. The Bakugan is now in Battle Mode, and you will be able to see it's G-Power. In basic terms, it is the G-Power that decides the outcome of a battle. The Bakugan with the highest total G-Power wins.

For the two player game each player has a team of three Bakugan Brawlers and each is trying to be the first to capture three Gate cards.

Set up for two player game

Each player must select a deck of

  • Three Bakugan Brawlers
  • Three Gate Cards; one of each color (the Gate cards are heavier than the others and make the Bakugan open)
  • Three Ability Cards; one of each color

The place between the players are called the Field. The playing field needs to be about 2 1/2 feet long.

The players should place one card each, face down, on the battlefield in front of their opponent - the short side of the cards touching against each other. Make sure that your opponents card is closest to you, and that your card is closest to your opponent. During play, two new gate cards will be played.

Players should hold their unused cards so that the opponent cannot see the face side.

Each player should have a used pile to the left where the played Ability Cards, Gate Cards won and used Bakugan go. (A used Bakugan is a Bakugan that won or loss in a battle or was rolled and did not land on a gate card.)

You should also have an unused pile to your right. This is where you keep your unused Bakugan until it is time to roll them. The unused Bakugan should be in Sphere Mode (marble-like).

PLAY!

The players take turns, and the youngest player goes first. The player rolls one of his unused Bakugan at the Gate Cards in the field. If you do not have any unused Bakugan, then remove all the Bakugan from the used pile and place them in the unused pile and choose one.

The Bakugan must be at least two card lengths from the Gate Cards when it is rolled.

After the roll

After you roll, several things can happen:

  1. The Bakugan misses the Gate Card, and the Bakugan is placed in used pile: your turn is over, and it is the other players turn.
  2. The Bakugan lands on a Gate Card, and no other Bakugan is on that card: your turn is over, and it is the other players turn.
  3. The Bakugan lands on a Gate Card, and the other player has a Bakugan on that card: Battle occurs (see 'Battle').
  4. The Bakugan lands on a Gate Card, and you already have a Bakugan on this card: you must move this just rolled Bakugan to another Gate Card:

    • If the new Gate Card has an opponents Bakugan on it already, then a battle occurs (see 'Battle').
    • If it only has the Bakugan that you just moved to it on there, your turn is over, and it is the other players turn.
    • If there are no other Gate Cards for your Bakugan to move to then you win this gate card (that you have two Bakugan on).

If this results in no Gate Cards on the playing field then each player places one Gate Card as instructed in the setting up rules.

BATTLE!

  • Remove the Bakugan from the Gate Card, and note each ones G-Power.
  • Then, flip over the Gate Card, and follow the instructions it may have.
  • Each player is now allowed to play Ability Cards (a player can play one or more, or all of his/hers unused Ability Cards at this time, or they can play none). The player whose turn it is starts, and the players alternate playing one Ability Card at a time until both players have decided not to play more Ability Cards. (Eg. you may pass and your opponent then plays a card, you can now also decide to play a card. Once both players pass and do not play a card then this "phase" is over and no one can play anymore Ability Cards for this battle.)
  • Finally, add the Gate Cards G-Power boost (the number on the card) to the Bakugan G-Power.
  • Now, place your Bakugan that was just in battle in your used pile. If you won the Gate Card, place that in your used pile as well. Remember to place new two new Gate Cards if there are none currently in play ( one from each player as instructed in the setting up section ) Play now continues with the next players turn.

WINNING THE GAME!

The first player to get three Gate Cards in their used pile is the winner!

The Bakugan Game

Bakugan is the game portrayed in anime series Bakugan Battle Brawlers. The game was developed by Sega Toys and Spin Master and it was released in conjunction with the anime series.

The game uses metal cards and magnetic spring-loaded miniature figures, representing the Bakugan. These small spheres magnetically morph into powerful Bakugan warriors when they roll onto the metal Gate Cards, and you must use strategy to place your metal Gate Cards effectively as each card affects the battle differently. Master your precision shooting skills to roll your Bakugan into battle!

Battle is engaged when rolled Bakugan magnetically pop open on the same gate card. G-Power from the Bakugan, Ability cards (at player’s option), and Gate card are summed to determine the battle’s winner.

The objective of the game is to capture three of the opponent’s Gate cards (3 battles).
