Activision Publishing and Corus Entertainment's Nelvana Enterprises have announced that Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Defenders of the Core, will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS and PSP this fall. This is the sequel to Bakugan Battle Brawlers video game.

In Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Defenders of the Core, players can create their own hero and lead the brawlers on an grand adventure to save Earth's cities from Spectra and his Vexos minions. Players will be given complete control over their creatures when taking on their opponents as Bakugan transform from small balls into towering creatures. Players will find themselves exploring dangerous and dark areas to stop the evil spirits that are sucking the life force from the world. Players will unlock all-new levels and characters as they unearth hidden clues and defeat opponents in the quest to save the world from ultimate destruction.

Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Defenders of the Core also features split-screen multiplayer action in three different game modes in the console versions, and linked multiplayer on Nintendo DS and PSP system. Coupled with real-time battle gameplay, this will be the first time that players can duke it out with their Bakugan in head-to-head duels, free for all, and strategic destruction battles.

This sequel to the 2009 hit Bakugan Battle Brawlers, once again based on the top-rated television series and Spin Master's best-selling toy, blends fast and fluid fighting tactics with real time strategy elements to bring the monsters to life on a breathtaking scale.

Bakugan Battle Gear is launched along with the third season of Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Bakugan: Gundalian Invaders. Bakugan Battle Gear can actually be played together with ANY Bakugan, but it can only be attached to the new Gundalian Invaders Bakugan. (If your Battle Gear cannot be attached to your Bakugan, simply use it by opening it on the Gate Card being battled on.) Like a trap, a Battle Gear is played during battle. However, rather than changing attributes, they give a boost to G-power, usually between 50 and 100 Gs.

Bakugan Battle Gear comes with a Reference Card. These cards are blue, and they are not in any used or unused piles; they simply detail the Battle Gear's special abilities.

The Battle Gear has the same main attribute colors as normal Bakugan does, but their symbols are different. These symbols mean Gold, Silver and Copper (replaces the term Bronze). The colors correspond to the Gate Cards in the same colors. That is, a Gold Battle Gear is most useful on a Gold Gate Card, a Silver Battle Gear is most useful on a Silver Gate Card and a Copper Battle Gear is most useful on a Copper/Bronze Gate card.

To play your Battle Gear, simply open it on the Bakugan in battle and add the stated G-Power. In addition, pay attention to your Bakugans' attribute. If it matches either of the attributes on your Battle Gear Reference Card, then you get to use the ability stated there as well. OR, if your Battle Gear matches the color of the Gate Card you battle on, you can choose to use any of the Reference Card abilities.

A player is allowed to use two 'special pieces' in battle: 2 Battle Gears, 2 Traps, or 1 Battle Gear and 1 Trap.

All Bakugan fans are waiting in anticipation now! First, there is the launch of the third series of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Bakugan: Gundalian Invaders. We are already excited about the Bakugan DNA Codes that can be found on the Gundalian Invaders Bakugan and on the new Bakugan Battle Gear. But as we now know, it does not stop there!

Bakugan Dimensions will be released March 2010. It is an online game created by SpinMaster, and we are getting ready to take brawling online now!

The Bakugan website has now updated into the new Gundalian Invaders site, and March 5, 2010, the site also says "Bakugan Dimensions coming soon" on the main screen.
